Krakenberger, Rose (Dec 1900)
On account of the development of a case of diphtheria in the family of George Krakenberger, the marriage of his daughter Rose to Mr. Arnold Shaw was communicated at the residence of Mrs. Folsom, where Mr. Shaw was temporarily making his home. The marriage ceremony was performed on the morning of the twentieth inst. By Rev. W. Georgi and on account of the fear of Mr. Shaw that his wife might contract the dread disease they thought best to leave town for a short time, so they went to the home of the groom’s parents at Black Creek, Wis.
The bride was arrayed in a beautiful white satin dress with a rich veil and chaplet of orange blossoms. The two maids of honor were neatly attired in rich material selected expressly for the occasion. The grooms men were Mr. Edward Bereiter and Mr. Arthur Shaw. The bridesmaids were Miss Lizzie Krakenberger and Miss Grace Folsom.
The Reporter congratulates the happy pair and hopes that all May soon be well at the bride’s parents.
